The PC Agency
The PC Agency is a PR Week UK Top 150 consultancy specialising in luxury travel. As a Senior Account Executive, I work across a mix of global tourism and airline accounts delivering measurable results and building brand value.
At the no-nonsense Story Comms, I co-ordinated press office tasks including: media monitoring; press releases and reactive comment; developing targeted media lists; pitching story ideas to journalists and 'selling in'. I also worked extensively across digital and social media, developing cross-platform content plans to ensure consistent messaging across client channels, in addition to impactful, data-driven campaigns with measurable results.
Clients included: Berkeley Group (St Joseph), Wates, The British Business Bank, The FA, Gowling, Mills & Reeve, Finance Birmingham and Berwick Partners.
(2017 - 2018)
Tasked with engaging a 14,000-strong student community at Aston, along with incoming and prospective students, I helped drive authentic, thumb-stopping digital content in line with the university's social media strategy.
Activities included writing student-orientated articles for the Aston Life blog, creating video and multimedia content for the university’s official social media channels as well as monitoring these feeds to drive engagement and brand awareness among social media communities.
Digital Ambassador (2017 - 2018)
Working within the industrials team at London-headquartered PR agency Powerscourt, I supported a broad client base covering the autos, aviation and oil and gas (energy) sectors.
Core responsibilities included: media monitoring and compiling daily press wraps; preparing Q&A documents and briefings on trade journalists; client reporting and pitching stories to national and trade media.
My role at the world leading aircraft manufacturer embraced the full breath of communication, including media relations and PR, internal communications, CSR and collaboration with the corporate and public affairs functions.
Responsibilities included: hosting journalists and customers for site visits and events; handling corporate social media channels; dealing with enquiries from media and members of the public and copywriting for internal and external communication channels.

As a freelance writer for CV Plaza, I researched a range of job roles to produce compelling, informative careers content – including sample CVs and cover letters – for a website that has helped more than six million jobseekers.

The View Posts
Starting out as a contributor for the student blogging platform, I was appointed to the position of Entertainment and Political editor within a month.
Responsibilities included: liaising with the writing team on story ideas and content creation; proofreading and editing posts from fellow contributors and producing my own articles, including Film & TV and Politics features.
